German born Stephanie Wehowski trained as a stonemason before studying art. Stephanie works in large-scale sculpture and installation, which have in the past occupied parks and abandoned buildings. The installations themselves often include video or sound and focus on having a direct physical effect on the viewer or creating an atmosphere, which allows viewers to dive into introspection. She showed her most recent sound piece with WW at the 53rd Venice Biennale, 2009 and the culmination of over a year's work, her new installation, 'The Totality of Yourself (part 1) was part of 'Is There Anybody There?' at WW in Oct/Nov 09.
